A Road Less Traveled

It was a nice long day of travel with little sleep on the plane. We went through customs in Iceland in under 5 minutes. That’s the way to run border entry.  We arrived in Munich mid afternoon and after checking in, couldn’t help but took a short nap. We had a small snack at the  hotel for “dinner” since we have no idea what time it really is. Tomorrow is a free day with Dan & Deborah, our travel buddies from Albuquerque, joining us.  We really struggled with packing in a carry-one but as we walked through baggage claims we noted piles and piles of unclaimed bags, oh my. Tuesday August 30,2022 As we start our adventure to see the Country Roads of Bavaria, we wondered how best to document the trip. Soooo….we settled on blogging, at least at the start. We’ll see how it goes so no promises at the outset as to how well we continue it.  We’re sitting in Portland waiting and waiting and waiting for Icelandair to Munich with a connection in Iceland, of course. But enough for setting up the Blog. It’s time for Mimosas and Beers. After all, even though it’s 9 something in the morning, it’s after 6 in Munich. Cheers, Todd & Janet
