This morning we took an Uber to Nymphenburg Palace, a massive complex of buildings and gardens, built in the late 1600’s, that was a popular summer home of Bavarian rulers. In the afternoon, our bus tour officially began with the group consisting of  29 travelers, a tour director, a wellness care provider, and of course our bus driver.  We took a short tour of the local area ending back at Marienplatz where we saw the Glockenspiel performance for a second time. At the end of the day there was a dinner back at our hotel where we were able to spend time with some of our fellow travelers.

Nymphenburg Palace - typical summer cottage … for Kings

…with a generous back yard

Walls & ceilings covered with artwork

Somehow we both ended up with stiff necks
