Today we had a relaxing day in Colmar, France visiting the Unterlinden Museum, established in 1849. It is know for housing the Isenheim Alterpiece, an enormous movable alterpiece constructed and painted between 1512 and 1516. The building is a 13th century convent later joined to a 1906 former public bath house. The collection was superb. After the museum we strolled around town. Tonight we has a relaxing dinner at a typical Alsacian restaurant.
